From the Lincoln sites to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum; from the Dana Thomas House to Knight’s Action Park; from the Botanical Gardens to the Henson Robinson Zoo, the hardest decision will be what not to do. New in 2006, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is must-sees in downtown Springfield. Guests are encouraged to meet in the hotel lobby Friday at 10 AM to walk the three blocks to the museum, and then rendezvous in the museum café for a bite of lunch. There guests can compare notes, discuss options and organize outings with each other or on your own for the reminder of the conference weekend. Can’t decide what to do? Hop on the Historic Site Trolley Bus for a taste of it all. Guests will receive a Springfield Convention and Visitors Guide Booklet, map of downtown, and our suggestions of what is fun and interesting in Lincoln’s hometown.
