ISPE PAC

Decisions are made in Illinois government every day that affect you and your profession.

You have a choice: Let legislators make those decisions in a vacuum, or make your voice heard in Springfield. It’s up to you.

Organizations that move issues look at the big picture. While financial support is not the only ingredient in a successful legislative program, funding is necessary to help elect and retain those legislators who understand engineering issues.

The Illinois Society of Professional Engineers Political Action Committee (ISPE/PAC) is an independent, nonpartisan legislative action organization. The purpose of the ISPE/PAC is to make contributions to candidates for state public office (without regard to political party affiliation) who have demonstrated an interest in the engineering profession.

The ISPE/PAC receives funds from three main sources:

  1. Voluntary add-on to your NSPE dues. Any PAC contribution made on the NSPE dues application is split equally between the state PAC and the national PAC.
  2. Voluntary annual contribution through your state dues. Ten percent of your ISPE dues go into the ISPE Political Action Fund unless you opt-out of the PAC contribution.
  3. Direct contributions from individuals & firms. Individual members, non-members, and firms who wish to support the mission and purpose of the ISPE/PAC may make direct contributions by sending a check or money order to ISPE/PAC, 100 East Washington Street, Springfield, Illinois 62701.
