John Frerich named Principal of Deuchler Environmental

As of January 1, 2010, John Frerich, P.E. (DuKane Chapter) became a Principal of the firm Deuchler Environmental, Inc. in Aurora, Illinois.  Deuchler Environmental, Inc. is a multi-disciplined environmental consulting firm committed to serving governmental and private clients in meeting the challenges of increasingly complicated and rigorous environmental regulations.  John is also a Principal in the firms of Walter E. Tom Palansky named President

ST. PAUL, MN (February 5, 2010) – Bonestroo, a full-service engineering, planning and environmental science firm, named Tom Palansky president this week. The announcement was made by CEO Jerry Bourdon. Palansky is a registered professional engineer with 28 years of consulting and local government experience.  He has been with Bonestroo since 2004. A principal in the firm, Palansky currently leads government and private sector teams in the firm’s Libertyville, IL office.

 Goetz marks 35 years at Hanson

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Tim Goetz, P.E., S.E., a project manager, recently celebrated 35 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters.

His career highlights include serving as a project manager for the upgrade of standby-power fuel systems for a major telecommunications company at more than 3,000 locations.  He also served as the structural engineer for Voice of America broadcast station projects in Saipan and Tinian, Mariana Islands; São Tomé, Botswana and Djibouti, Africa; Poro, Philippines; and Kuwait. Additionally, Goetz served as structural engineer for the Red Line subway extension in Boston as well as for subway projects in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Goetz has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University.
