Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Fifth Edition, 1996
The Fifth Edition of the "Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Main Construction in Illinois" is available for purchase from the ISPE office. The current edition is aimed at reducing document assembly time and provides for a high quality product to facilitate agency reviews and reduce bidder time.

Professional Development Courses
As an approved Professional Development Provider, ISPE offers a number of options and opportunities to obtain PDHs, including both on-line and on-site courses. ISPE aims to meet the diverse interests of our membership through a variety of topics and delivery mechanisms at an affordable price.

PE & FE Review Courses
ISPE Offers review courses for the PE and FE exams in the Spring and Fall of each year leading up to the April and October exam dates. These course are taught by university faculty or highly experienced professional engineers. Review texts are also available through ISPE.

Asbestos Certification Course
All individuals who have received certification under the AHERA program are required to annually renew their certification by attending an accredited recertification course within 365 calendar days of the issuance of their last certificate. In order to help individuals meet these requirements, the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers conducts EPA-IDPH approved asbestos recertification courses for Contractors/Supervisors, Building Inspectors, Management Planners and Project Designers.

Career Center
The ISPE Jobs Center includes postings from employers from throughout the state as well as engineering-related employment information and career news.

Illinois Engineer
Illinois Engineer, a quarterly magazine created for industry professionals, provides a much-needed forum for engineers to exchange ideas and information. This is the only publication reaching the top decision-making engineers on a state-wide basis in industry, business, private practice, architectural engineering firms, utilities, education and all levels of government.

ISPE Insider
This bi-weekly electronic newsletter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers provides the latest and most timely news to ISPE leadership and members. This members-only e-publication alerts members not only of the latest news, but job openings, new members, professional development opportunities, and seeks immediate feedback on Society issues.
