College Students - ISPE Offers Scholarships!

The ISPE Foundation offers scholarships to Illinois students enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering programs.  The deadline to apply for scholarships with ISPE is March 31.

Available Scholarships

ISPE Foundation Scholarship -$1000

To be eligible for the ISPE Foundation Scholarship, students must attend an Illinois university, be of at least Junior standing, and be enrolled in an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). (Note: Students enrolled in an engineering technology program are not eligible.) Applicants should have a B average or better in those courses which are accredited toward the engineering degree, and show evidence of financial need.

ISPE/Peppy Moldovan Scholarship - $1000

Applicants must be female engineering students currently enrolled as a sophomore at one of the following colleges or universities. 
  • Illinois Central College, Peoria
  • Kaskaskia Community College, Centralia
  • Rend Lake Community College, Centralia
  • Bradley University, Peoria
  • Southern Illinois University, Carbondale
  • Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville
  • University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign

The scholarship is contingent upon recipient's enrollment and acceptance in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) at one of the following universities:

  • Bradley University, Peoria
  • Southern Illinois University, Carbondale
  • Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville
  • University of Illinois, Urbana/ChampaignUniversity of Illinois, Chicago

National Society of Professional Engineers Scholarships

NSPE offers scholarships for engineering students, including:

  • A scholarship for a minority student
  • Six scholarships for undergraduates
  • A scholarship for graduate studies
  • An internship for graduate students
