Students will have the opportunity to present student-faculty research in five categories.* The overall top three presenters will receive a cash prize.

• Civil Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Environmental
• Mechanical Engineering
• Structural Engineering

*Reviewers have expertise in these specific fields. Future events may have expanded categories.

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for the overall top three presenters.

• 1st Place: $400
• 2nd Place: $200
• 3rd Place: $100​

Criteria
Posters will be judged on the following:

• overall appearance
• logical organization and flow
• meaningful graphical/text communication of content/data
• clarity of purpose and goals
• methodology
• clear results
• discussions/conclusions/recommendations
• technical accomplishments and design lessons learned

​Eligibility
This is opportunity is open to junior and senior students currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program at an Illinois-based university.

Judges
Submissions will be judged by principal engineers from the Illinois employers listed below.
