Order of the Engineer
The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. The Order is not a membership organization; there are never any meetings to attend or dues to pay. Instead, the Order fosters a unity of purpose and the honoring of one’s pledge lifelong.

The Engineer’s Ring in the United States is a stainless steel ring, worn on the fifth finger of the working hand by engineers who have accepted the Obligation of an Engineer in a Ring Ceremony. Download the nomination form and view the full list of recipients at the link below.

QBS Awards
ISPE offers a state-level award recognizing public and private entities that make exemplary use of the Qualifications-Based Selection process at the federal, state, and local levels. QBS Award winners serve as examples of how well the QBS process works, and they help ESI promote the practice of QBS in jurisdictions that do not use, or underuse, QBS to procure engineering services. All award winners are recognized at the ISPE Annual Conference. Download the nomination form and view more information at the link below.

Joint Honors Award

Outstanding Chapter Member Award
Because ESI recognizes that the individual chapters are the ‘grass roots’ of the organization, this award recognizes a chapter member for outstanding services to his/her individual chapter.  This award can be made to any chapter member who has exhibited dedication in helping the chapter grow and prosper.  The recipient may be an officer, past officer, committee chair or active member. Download the nomination form and view the full list of recipients at the link below.
